The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA), based in New Delhi, is seeking an intern, to join for a period of 2-4 months, starting end-August. The candidate should have an undergraduate degree with some research-related work experience, or a graduate degree with a research component, have excellent writing abilities in English, and be detail oriented. Prior study, research, work experience on development, security and issues such as combating violence against women and children, will be a plus. The intern will be required to provide assistance in background research on issues which are under the UNODC mandate (broadly classified as drugs, crime and terrorism).

The UNODC regional office covers Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. More information on ROSA's work is available at: http://www.unodc.org/india/.
